Developed by specialists as the perfect accompaniment for seafood dishes, Rhéa is a veritable hymn to the undersea world, with its iodine flavours. A handy tasting tip: its slight bitterness and zesty tones are best enjoyed after a fishing trip, barefoot in the waves, or on a boat.

Rhéa is a speciality beer with citrus flavours, making it unique.
An extremely pale malt is used, and a small amount of calcium is added (together with ground oyster shells) to alter the character of the water.
The lemon rind and Sansho pepper, together with subtly bitter aromas, give this beer a particular freshness in the mouth. A great alternative to the traditional white or rosé wine.

All of our beers are produced at La Teste de Buch in France, using locally sourced ingredients.
