Mira has developed a brand new beer recipe using fresh hops: the Harvest Ale. “What’s so special about that?” you may be asking yourselves. In fact, dried hops are usually used for beer making. The difficulty involved in this technique is the short timescale. From the moment the hops are harvested to the brewing process takes only 2 hours. This ultra-short timeframe is the only way to ensure that the hops retain all their original flavour.
Our Collection beer, aged in bourbon barrels, has been awarded the gold medal. Our Natural Mystic has also enjoyed huge success, winning a gold and a bronze medal. Black Owl Sun picked up two bronze medals, as did our Celtic edition. What a superb result for our 3rd consecutive participation in the World Beer Awards in London, where we have won a total of 16 medals, including “world’s best dark beer” presented to our N°6 beer last year.
