INSECTS ON OUR IPAs

Yes, but why?

We keep repeating it, but why not say it again: don't worry, no insects are present in the composition of our beers! Drink without fear, trust us! If we chose to put insects in the spotlight on our IPA range, it is precisely because this is not often the case. Or even never. And yet, when you take an interest in it, you realize all the richness of this mini-sized life. An incalculable number of different species, with colorful colors, particular lifestyles and unsuspected interests for human life! So much exciting information that we wanted to share with you, because knowing our environment better is the best way to better respect it! So scan the QR Code on the can and discover these insects, explained by the captivating Pascal Raevel, an university professor who is an expert in the field.

A collaboration that makes sense

We were far from suspecting it but by observing the insects more closely we discovered their great beauty! What become the unique subjects on our IPAs, magnified by the graffiti artist Kalouf and the visual artist Romain Lardanchet. All the details are worked on, all the colors are unveiled, all their finesse is revealed. The insects then appear as real jewels. Second collaboration with Kalouf, this one takes on its full meaning in this project. Indeed, the animal, whether extremely small or immensely large, is always at the heart of the works of the Lyonnais artist. As an eternal source of inspiration, he considers wildlife to be fundamentally linked to our future. It is therefore equipped with his bombs that he expresses his commitment, through largely colorful works of unparalleled precision.

Insects, precious jewels

Second collaboration with Kalouf, this one takes on its full meaning in this project. Indeed, the animal, whether extremely small or immensely large, is always at the heart of the works of the Lyonnais artist. As an eternal source of inspiration, he considers wildlife to be fundamentally linked to our future. It is therefore equipped with his bombs that he expresses his commitment, through largely colorful works of unparalleled precision. Basically a street artist, Kalouf is more accustomed to working on monumental supports, but it is with pleasure and dexterity that he immersed himself in this project, accompanied by the visual artist Romain Lardanchet with whom he used to working. One creates impressive sculptures from unexpected recycled materials, the other paints them and finishes bringing them to life. A successful alchemy, for visuals of great finesse that adorn our range of IPA, the first Mira range in can format.

The cans are coming to Mira!

In 25cL, 33cL, 75cL bottles, in 5L barrels… Mira had not yet ventured into the can format. This is what we have done with our brand new range of IPAs! With a capacity of 44cL, the aluminum can would be the best container for beer, keeping it perfectly protected from light. And it's still a new playground for us and the artists, to offer you ever more decorated and colorful containers!

IPA is good, organic IPA is better!

We no longer present the IPA, a strongly hoppy and therefore very bitter beer, invented in the 15th century. Since then, this style of beer has evolved, adapting to the tastes of contemporary consumers. Germain, our master brewer, then offers you this classic reinvented in several versions. By varying the types of hops, which each bring different nuances to the beer, but also by playing with various spices, fruits, wood chips, etc. In addition to being of high quality, all these ingredients are labeled organic, thus made the IPA range a range of environmentally friendly products, thus promoting biodiversity and the development of insect life.
